U.S. corporate tax policy in the Trump era


The Tax Policy Center of the University of LausanneSwitzerland  is delighted to invite you to its tax policy breakfast U.S. corporate tax policy in the Trump era”which shall take place on 15 March 2017 at 8h00 am at the premises of the “Chambre Vaudoise du Commerce et de l’Industrie” (CVCI) in Lausanne (Avenue d’Ouchy 47).

This event, which is organized jointly with Swiss-US American Chamber of Com­­merce (Amcham) and the CVCI, will allow us to discuss the proposals of the Re­publicans in the House of Representatives (GOP Tax Plan) aiming at reshaping US corporate tax policy such as, in particular:

· A general reduction of US corporate income tax.
· border adjusted” tax policy which would exempt exports and tax imports into the US.

To discuss these issues and their potential impact for Switzerland and Europe, the Tax Policy Center is proud to welcome the leading US tax expert, Professor David Rosenbloom, Visiting Professor, New York University, Partner Caplin and Drysdale.  The presentation shall be followed by a panel discussion led by Profes­sor Jean-Pierre Danthine, Honorary Professor, HEC Lausanne, former Vice-President of the Swiss National Bank, Chairman of Paris School of Economics and Professor Robert Danon, co-director of the Tax Policy Center.
